Terms of payment
These Online Payment Terms apply to the use of the online payment transaction services (the Services) for the payment of certain types of transactions as made available by Centre for Advanced Professional Practices EVENTS Dubai, UAE from time to time through the CAPP EVENTS website.

These Online Payment Terms constitute a contract between you and CAPP EVENTS. Please read them carefully. You may either accept or decline the Terms as indicated at the bottom of this page, but to make payment using the Services you must accept the Terms by clicking "I Accept".

Please note that the Online Payment Terms may be altered or added to by the CAPP EVENTS at any time that CAPP EVENTS determines necessary, with or without notice. Please, therefore, ensure that you read the Terms carefully on each occasion that you use the Services.

Payment of registration fees
The registration fees can be paid in Dirhams (AED) or US dollars.
Payment may be made using only Visa or MasterCard Credit cards or Debit card.
Once a payment has been made it cannot be cancelled.

Refund/Cancellation policy
A Refund of the registration fee will be made as follows:
- Notification in writing 40 days prior the event -50% refund.
20 days prior to the event - no refund can be given.

Only one(1) discount may be applied to an individual registration. Under no circumstances can any of the discounts be combined. Your registration must be paid in full in order to receive the pricing for those discounts.

Privacy Policy
All personal data provided to the Organizer for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose.

Since 1997, she has always had a private practice. From 2000 to 2004, she chose a new family life and settled in Los angeles, CA.
Today, she serves as Executive Editor of EFAAD (European Federation for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry).

Course Description
This course is designed to provide didactic and clinical instruction in nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia in accordance with American Dental Association, and Dental Faculties of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons and the Royal College of Anaesthetists (UK) guidelines. Participants will have the opportunity to administer and undergo nitrous oxide sedation under close supervision. The course is intended for general dentists and dental specialists.

Course Objectives
  • Define and describe physiological and psychological aspects of anxiety.
  • Describe the stages of consciousness and the levels of sedation.
  • Discuss the pharmacology of nitrous oxide.
  • Discuss the advantages/disadvantages and indications/contraindications of nitrous oxide/ oxygen analgesia.
  • Perform patient evaluation, selection, and preparation for nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia.
  • Describe and discuss the function of the basic components of nitrous oxide/oxygen delivery and scavenging systems.
  • Administer nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia to patients in a clinical setting in a safe and effective manner.
  • Monitor patient undergoing nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia and document the procedure.
  • Discuss the complications associated with nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia and the prevention, recognition, and management of medical emergencies.
  • Discuss potential occupational health hazards and abuse potential.

This course will enable participants to :
