Abstract
Direct posterior composites have become widespread in the practice of general dentistry and are a common daily procedure providing many benefits for patients. However, clinical experience and studies have shown that compared to Dental Amalgam, Class II restorations can create problems such as sensitivity, secondary caries, and food impaction due to poor contact areas. Ian believes in the philosophy of Better, Safer and Faster regarding composite placement. In his presentation, Ian will present practical solutions to everyday problems and show how applying the theory can lead to clinical success. Ian will also focus on the use of the necessary equipment and materials to ensure a predictable outcome.
