Periodontal health considerations in aesthetic prosthodontics

Abstract
This lecture will cover the Restorative considerations in the Perio-restorative interfaces for the restoration and replacement of teeth. The lecture will cover the impact of direct and indirect restorations on periodontal health and maintenance, and considerations when extracting and replacing teeth. The lecture will consider the design of fixed restorations and removable prosthesis. Finally, the lecture will discuss splinting and mobility, trauma from occlusion, and prosthodontic management of gingival recession.
