Studied dentistry at the University of Nijmegen Dental School from 1979-1984.
After graduating he joined the department of Oral Function and worked in de section of special dental care and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. He received his PhD in 1996 on the subject of overdentures on dental implants; “The Breda Implant Overdenture Study”. In that year he left Academia. From 1985 till 2006 he worked at the Amphia teaching Hospital in Breda in the department of Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics.

In 1985 he started a general dental practice which since 1990 is a referral practice for Oral Implantology. Has been president of the Dutch Prosthodontic Association and the Dutch Association for Gnathology. He is an ITI fellow since 1993. In the ITI he has served as a member of the ITI education Core Group for 8 years. Since 2012 he is a member of the ITI research committee and in 2013 has been elected as an ITI board member at large..

In 2006 he accepted the position of Professor of Oral Implantology and Prosthetic Dentistry at ACTA Amsterdam which he combines with his referral practice. He is the head of the section of Oral Implantology and Prosthetic Dentistry . The research areas in his section are focused on “CAD/CAM treatment optimization”, “Digital Dentistry, treatment evaluation and workflow” ,” implant surface and bone substitute optimization” “peri-implantitis” as well as “ the evaluation of different implant based treatment modalities”.

Dr. Jan-Frederik Güth is a faculty member at the Department of Prosthodontics of the Dental School of the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich, Germany since 2007. Field of attention: CAD/CAM, digital impression and workflow. 2008 Doctor of Dentistry Science Degree (DDS) Professional Affiliations: German Prosthetic Society (DGZPW), German Association of Implantology (DGI). He became Associate Professor in 2012. In 2013 Dr. Güth spent seven months as a Research Scholar at the University of Southern California (USC), Division of Restorative Sciences in Los Angeles, working with Dr. Pascal Magne. He was placed 3rd at the Espertise Talent Award organized by 3M ESPE in 2010. His fields of attention and research are digital impressions and workflows, CAD/CAM technologies and high-performance polymers.

Richard J. Simonsen is Dean and Professor at the University of Sharjah College of Dental Medicine, Sharjah, UAE. His dental education was completed at the University of Minnesota in 1971, where he was also later granted his Master’s degree in Epidemiology and a Certificate in Cardiology. He was the founding dean of Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, from 2006 to 2010. Dr Simonsen has authored three textbooks and numerous scientific publications, the latest being a chapter on ethics in Essentials of Esthetic Dentistry, Vol 1, (Elsevier 2014). He has lectured in over 30 countries, and is the developer of the Preventive Resin Restoration (PRR) procedure and the etching of porcelain for esthetic and restorative procedures. He is the Past President of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

Professor Paul Tipton is an internationally acclaimed Specialist in Prosthodontics who has worked in private practice for more than 30 years. He is the founder of Tipton Training Ltd, one of the UK’s leading private dental training academies and the author of over one 100 scientific articles for the dental press. He was voted in the Top 20 ‘most influential dentists in the UK’ by his peers in Dentistry Magazine in April 2012, the leading Prosthodontist in the poll and was voted in the top 5 dentists in Private Dentistry’s Elite 20 poll, January 2012.

He gained his Master’s Degree in 1989 from the Eastman Dental Hospital and London University and started teaching on the University of Manchester’s MSc in Restorative Dentistry. He is now Professor of Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry at the City of London Dental School.
His private dental training academy, Tipton Training, was founded in 1991 and to date over 3000 dentists have completed a one year course at the Academy.

In 1992, Prof. Tipton was awarded an honorary Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was appointed a member of the British Dental Association’s Independent Practice Committee. In 1999, he was certified as a Specialist in Prosthodontics by the General Dental Council.

Prof Tipton is on the editorial board of Private Dentistry Magazine, The Journal of Indian Prosthodontics Society and Implant Dentistry and is a medical writer and part of the advisory board at Expert Beauty Magazine and ‘Woman’s’ magazine. He was a founding member and on the Board of Directors of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is the past president of the British Academy of Implant Dentistry and is currently the President of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He was recently elected Fellow of the International Academy of dental Facial Esthetics (IADFE) and Associate Fellow of the University of Warwick.

Dr James Russell has been awarded the highly prestigious British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) Accreditation in recognition of excellence in cosmetic dentistry, the youngest dentist to achieve this.

James’ work has been widely published in the dental press and he regularly lectures and instructs dentists on the art and science of aesthetic and restorative dentistry both in the UK and abroad, recently he has helped develop new techniques with the Inman Aligner to promote the provision of minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Jochen Kania studied dentistry at the University of Ulm, Germany where he graduated in 1993. From 1994 to 1996 he worked as assistant doctor at University of Ulm. In 1996 he joined the dental clinic of Dr. Giebel in Laupheim, Germany. In 2000 Jochen Kania set up his own business and became independent dentist by taking over another dental practice in Laupheim. Jochen Kania is interested in future trends and digital dentistry. In his daily business he especially focuses on treating patients with implant based restorations. For this purpose he is working with digital impression systems combined with 2D/3D imaging and jaw movement diagnostics.

Lt/Col Dr. Nawaf Al-Dousari was recently promoted as the medical director of Al-Jahra Military Hospital in the north region of Kuwait. Prior to that he used to be the dental director of the military dental sector at the Ministry of Defense in Kuwait as well as the dental director of the dental department at Jaber Al-Ahmed Armed Forces Hospital, Kuwait.

As far is his academic career, he is currently an adjunct faculty at the Department of Restorative Science and Biomaterial Division of Prosthodontics at Boston University, USA. He used to be the program director of the advanced specialty education program in Prosthodontics at Boston University Institute of Dental Research and Education (BUIDRE) in Dubai and also used to be a Clinical Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry in Kuwait University.

Dr. Al-Dousari achieved a Doctor of Science in Dentistry (DScD) in Prosthodontics from Boston University (USA) in 2011. He was the first prosthodontist in Kuwait to achieve this prestigious certificate. His Doctorate research was heavily involved in dental biomaterials on CAD/CAM technology and ceramic restorations. He also holds a Master of Science (MSD) degree is Prosthodontics from the same university.

His Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree was archived from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry (USA) in 2001 and completed his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Prosthodontics in 2006 from Boston University (USA) which he was awarded the David J. Baraban Award for Outstanding Resident in Prosthodontics.

Dr. Al-Dousari is a national and international speaker. He has presented numerously in the field of implant dentistry, CAD/CAM dental technology, cosmetic dentistry, and enjoys lecturing on Perio-Prosth / Endo-Prosth intimate relations. In 2007 he Contributed a publication of a chapter titled “Treatment planning and management of patients requiring combined periodontal and prosthodontic care” to a book entitled “Practical Advanced Periodontal Surgery” of Serge Dibart (the Editor).

Dr Krishnan is Internationally renowned as the creator of one of the world's most popular adult cosmetic orthodontic systems - CFAST (Cosmetically Focused Adult Straight Teeth).

He qualified from Dundee University in 1993 and his practice, Lubiju in Edinburgh, was Highly Commended as best Specialist Practice in Scotland and voted Best Private Practice in East Scotland. Dr Krishnan has also been recognised as one of Scotland's outstanding dentists.

Dr Krishnan lectures extensively nationally and internationally primarily on cosmetically focused orthodontics, in which he has pioneered revolutionary new concepts using the C-FAST Adult Cosmetic Orthodontic System which he personally developed.
